Flurry and Prompted accompanied each other on the lead for the first six furlongs.  Black Nova and Obsolete followed the leaders into the turn for home. Flurry and Black Nova started to duel early in the final turn. The two continued that duel to down the lane. Black Nova was able to out kick Flurry for the win by a neck. Flurry went as the 1/2 favorite. Running time – 1:43.36.
